The mathematics and computer science department encourages its students to take their passion for math or computer science beyond the classroom by engaging in department activities such as the Math and CS Colloquium Series, student-run clubs and organizations, or by participating in the annual department-sponsored contests for high school students and the Summer Ventures program.
